We've seen intrepid PC hackers turn Kinect into a 3D radar, the world's most horrifically awkward Super Mario controller, and, er, this thing, so surely Microsoft's ready to match the demand with some form of supply, right? You'd think so, but for now, the software giant's not ready to let us at its latest goose that lays golden eggs.

Speaking with the BBC, CEO Steve Ballmer plainly stated that Microsoft 'will support [Kinect on PC] in a formal way in the right time.'
